Real experiences from real travelers
The small group setting made it so much better. Our guide was funny and very knowledgeable about the geology. The Blue Lagoon at the end was the perfect way to relax after seeing the waterfalls.
Saw everything we wanted without feeling rushed. Having the Blue Lagoon tickets pre-booked was a lifesaver as the line for those without tickets was huge. Highly recommend booking through this platform.
The lagoon was the highlight after a long day of walking. Thingvellir was impressive, though it was quite windy. Bring a waterproof jacket!
Our guide shared so much history about Thingvellir and the Icelandic Sagas. The geyser eruption is a must-see! This tour is worth every penny for the convenience.
The Kerid crater was surprisingly beautiful with its red rocks. Everything was well-organized, and the minibus was very comfortable with USB chargers.
Everything went exactly as described. We were picked up right on time at our Reykjavik bus stop. The Blue Lagoon was a dream come true.
Price was fair given the inclusion of the Lagoon ticket and the Kerid crater fee. It's a long day, but you see the best of Iceland.
The contrast between the cold waterfalls and the hot lagoon is incredible. This is the best way to see the Golden Circle if you only have one day.
Everything you need to know for your journey
Most of our listed 'ticket-included' tours include the entry fee, but please check the 'What's Included' section of your specific choice, as some tours only offer the transfer without the ticket.
Expect a full day. Most tours range from 10 to 12 hours, while some winter combo tours including Northern Lights can last up to 14 hours.
This tour is fantastic year-round. Summer offers the Midnight Sun and lush green landscapes, while winter provides snow-covered scenery and the chance to see the Northern Lights on late-evening returns.
Dress in layers. Even in summer, Iceland can be cold and windy. Bring a waterproof jacket and trousers, sturdy walking shoes, and of course, your swimsuit for the lagoon.
Most tours stop at locations like Gullfoss or a local farm for lunch, but the cost of meals is generally not included. We recommend bringing snacks and a reusable water bottle.
The Blue Lagoon has a minimum age requirement of 2 years old. Children aged 2-8 must wear arm-floaties (provided free of charge) and be under constant supervision.
Standard day tours return to Reykjavik before dark. However, specific 'Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon & Northern Lights' combo tours are available during the winter months (September to April).
Standard Blue Lagoon 'Comfort' tickets (included in most tours) provide a towel. If you choose a 'Basic' transfer-only option, you may need to rent one or bring your own.
Icelandic weather can be extreme. If our partners must cancel for safety, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund. Always check your email on the morning of the tour.
